Subject: "The Oom-Pah Band" is more like it
Encoding is bad, but the film is still watchable. Mabel Normand is delightful as usual. Ford Sterling over-acts as usual. The ending gag makes me think of one I saw in a 1914 Charlie Chaplin film. The film is dated is some respects (like the humor of the band being stereotypically German), but still entertaining.
